The National Enterprise and Development Chamber (NEDC) is a membership-based institution established to champion entrepreneurship, enterprise growth, and innovation in Tanzania. NEDC was founded with a clear mission: to close the gap in our entrepreneurial ecosystem and create an environment where no idea, no talent, and no dream is wasted.
Across Tanzania, we see young people, women, and men with extraordinary energy and creativity. July 25, 2025 marked the dawn of a new era for Tanzanian enterprise, uniting government, investors, and innovators under one national platform.
The journey of the National Enterprise and Development Chamber (NEDC) reached a defining moment on July 25, 2025, when the Chamber was officially launched in Dar es Salaam.
By bringing together over 400 entrepreneurs, policymakers, and stakeholders from across the globe, we established a unified front to champion the growth of startups, SMEs, and corporate partnerships.
The launch was graced and officiated by Hon. Ridhiwani Kikwete, Minister for Youth & Labour. His presence reaffirmed the government's unwavering support for youth innovation.
